My Mum's good family friend is a chef, and he's just this year started making takoyaki.

I had them when I was young, but where I live now does not have them.

It's a pretty difficult food to come across, considering the special pan and stuff that you need to make it. He had to buy one when he was in Japan, get it converted to our power levels when he came back. It was a big hassle. ^^;;

But a lot of Japanese restaurants here still sell takoyaki. It might be just store bought, though. XD

But it's not the same as the fresh made ones. I miss those. ^^

Mhmm, definitely. I want to visit Osaka one day, the home of takoyaki. X3

I used to eat a lot of taiyaki growing up too. I would get some every weekend. ^.^

Taiyaki is really hard to find here. ^^;;
So I overdosed when I was in Japan. XD
They had these really yummy chocolate + white chocolate filled ones in Akihabara. ^^
